Istvan Zatik, MD, joined the Acumen team in July 2024 as the EU Medical Director and has over twenty-five years’ experience in clinical research. He has extensive background in emergency patient care as board certified emergency surgeon and has expertise in clinical development. He has served in various roles over the years including Clinical Project Manager, Clinical Development Manager, Medical Monitor/Head of Medical Monitoring and Safety Physician. Prior to joining Acumen Istvan worked at Veristat where he was responsible for managing the medical team and led efforts to oversee medical monitoring activities of the company and medical support of the drug safety team in diverse clinical trials. Istvan holds an MD degree from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary.
