Cruz Eakes joined Acumen in 2024. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from East Carolina University. At ECU, Cruz worked in a bioinorganic lab studying and developing methods to treat antibiotic resistance by metal assisted organic synthesis. His previous employer was ThermoFisher Scientific where he worked as an R&D/Manufacturing Scientist. As a scientist, Cruz focused on process and lyophilization development for clinical phase I,II, III, and PPQ.
